The Spring Plot Inspections will be conducted on Saturday 29 March 2025.

The purpose of the inspections is to ensure that allotments are being cultivated appropriate to the season, and to identify any potential problem areas, such as insecure fencing or structures, or the storage of non-allotment waste.

The Spring Inspection requires that;

• Preparation of the Ground
• Raising of Seedlings
• Planting and sowing in the ground

In addition, the winter weather has taken it’s usual toll on fencing and to the track. The Committee would be most grateful if Plot Holders could take a little time to ensure that fencing is secure and if possible, repairs made to any depression that have occurred to the track in front of their plots. There is plenty of mill waste in the bottom car park for making good.
