June 2025 Updates

Herewith a few updates for June and a reminder to enter the forthcoming Annual Allotment Competition.

Competition – Don’t be shy?

The week of 23 June we will be judging the annual allotment competitions

Either click the link above and e-mail your plot details or contact a committee member and we will add you to the list. You can also leave a note on our Facebook page.

In return for your entry, the judges will visit your plot and score your efforts based upon quality of veg, fruit, flowers and plants, layout and design, condition and other visual aspects.

There are different categories based on plot size and eligibility that include;

Best Allotment (24 June 2025)

Intermediate Allotment (24 June 2025)

Best Half Plot (28 June 2025)

and

New Member Most Progress (28 June 2025)

Plot Inspections

The next Plot inspections will be conducted on 28 June along with a general site assessment.

If, at any time, you are having difficulty cultivating your allotment, such as a prolonged illness or other extenuating circumstances, do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs and help. Simply speak to a member of the committee or drop us an email so we are aware of your situation.

Site Guidance

Children on Site

Future gardeners are always welcome on site but do be mindful of the risks.

Please ensure that children are kept safe within the confines of your plot and please do not let them play unattended in the communal areas specifically the Track and Car Parks.
